RED DOOR FOOD PANTRY
FEEDING OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED!
IT’S MARDI GRAS TIME!
We have faced some unique challenges to serve people in Bartow County. Though COVID-19 caused a shutdown of businesses and increased food insecurity, the Red Door Food Pantry stayed open and continued its original mission and even expanded services. Our success is because of YOU!
- Distributed 148,644 pounds of food from January 1 to August 31 through our main Red Door Food Pantry and three mobile food pantry sites. This food fed 3,536 households containing 9,780 people.
- Served 56,445 meals from March 17 to May 31 through our Dinner TOGO ministry in conjunction with First Presbyterian Church, Will2Way Foundation, and BLESS Coalition.
- Used our refrigerated truck to transport 56,659 kids meals to various schools around the county for further distribution.
- Purchased a refrigerated trailer to store COVID Relief Boxes of eggs, milk, meat, and cheese for distribution to families.
We could not have accomplished this without the support of amazing sponsors in our community! Because of their support, we had the resources to expand our programs quickly to fight hunger in our community.
We count on this support every year to sustain our programs and continue our mission to end hunger! If you would like to help or become a sponsor, contact us today!
From our table to yours ~ Thank you!
